Calgary, AB \u2013 June 24, 2025<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 4-H Alberta is proud to announce the election of a new Chair of the Board and the appointment of a dynamic executive team, alongside the addition of four new directors. These leadership transitions mark an exciting new chapter for the organization as it continues to empower and inspire youth across the province.<\/span><\/p>\n Syeda Khurram has been elected as Chair of the Board of Directors.<\/strong> A passionate advocate for youth development and inclusive leadership, Syeda brings over 20 years of executive experience in non-profit governance, financial stewardship, and transformational leadership. Having previously served as Vice-Chair and Director of Diversity, Syeda\u2019s appointment signals a renewed focus on growth, innovation, and stronger community engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n 4-H Alberta also acknowledges the outstanding leadership and ongoing commitment of its current board members: <\/span>Grace Tabler<\/b>, Youth Director; <\/span>Nora Paulovich<\/b>, Area Director, Peace; <\/span>Austin Andrew<\/b>, Area Director, East\/West Central; and <\/span>Christine MacTaggart<\/b>, Diversity Director in her capacity as Past Board Chair.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is an incredible honour to be elected Chair of 4-H Alberta. This organization has shaped generations of leaders and continues to be a powerful force for growth, resilience, and opportunity across our province. As we look to the future, I am energized by the passion within our board and community.
