Calgary, AB – July 10, 2025 – 4-H Alberta is pleased to announce the appointment of Karina Altvater as the new Director, Development.
Karina has been a valued member of the 4-H Alberta team for over five years, serving as the Fund Development and Philanthropic Officer. During her time in this role, she worked closely with Bianca von Nagy, Director of Business Development, contributing to the growth and strength of 4-H Alberta’s partnerships and sponsorships.
With Bianca’s departure to pursue new opportunities, Karina steps confidently into this senior leadership position. Her strong relationships with 4-H Alberta’s stakeholders, sponsors, and donors ensure a smooth transition and continued momentum in development initiatives.
Karina brings a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, having held development roles at organizations such as STARS and the Calgary Zoo. Her passion for meaningful work and her strategic approach to philanthropy align perfectly with 4-H Alberta’s mission and future goals.
